
Job description
The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing quality assurance and quality engineering activities, including supplier quality validation, incoming materials inspection, and final product validation. The role requires hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of quality and reliability methods.
The Quality Engineer will oversee inspectors, build quality into new product development, improve inspection procedures, and administer QMS software. They will also inspect incoming materials, establish supplier quality assurance, and maintain quality records.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering or a related field, 5+ years of quality engineering experience, and knowledge of quality and reliability methods. US citizenship is required due to ITAR regulations.
