Make‑A‑Wish Foundation of Illinois is a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting life‑changing wishes to children with critical illnesses across the state. The foundation coordinates wish experiences, corporate partnerships, and community outreach to support children and families during challenging times.

Wish Experience Intern
Currently enrolled in college, 10-15 hours/week, good communication skills
Grant Writing Intern
No experience required. Currently enrolled in college or university program
Human Resources & Office Operations Intern
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university academic program, 18 years old, and able to commute to the office weekly
Signature Events Intern
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university academic program, have a minimum age of 18, and be able to commute to the downtown Chicago office weekly on Thursdays
Community Events Intern
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university academic program, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Volunteer Program Intern
Currently enrolled in a college or university academic program, 15 hours/week commitment, must be able to commute to Chicago office
Mission Services Intern
Currently enrolled in a college or university academic program, minimum age 18, and able to commute to downtown Chicago office weekly
