Job description
The Controls Engineer is a remote position with travel to support various sites within the network. The role is responsible for continuous improvement and support of technical solutions, working with Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and Operations to ensure technical solutions evolve with the business and manufacturing process.
Drive continuous improvement, design control systems, work with OT Support Engineer and maintenance, assist Plant Engineering team, industrial controller programming, human machine interface design, and provide formal and informal training on OT systems.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of baking and food processing equipment, sanitary design practices, rotating machinery, and project management methodologies. Strong communication and leadership skills are also required.
