Machine Operator I

Role Overview

Provide accurate and quality product to customers by adhering to specifications and operating in the most cost effective and productive manner while lending support to the line associates in production and packaging areas.

What You Will Do

Complete Pre-Operational Inspection, set-up, operate, troubleshoot, and resolve machine issues, keep the line equipment operating in a safe and efficient manner, monitor production, efficiency, and product quality, and perform documentation and record keeping.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, willing to learn preventative machine maintenance, and knowledgeable in GMP's, OSHA and HACCP.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Ability to read, write, and speak English AND/OR Spanish
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
