Role Overview

A Materials Handler I is responsible for storing, moving, and handling materials. The role entails extensive on-the-job training and a structured work environment to minimize safety risks.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include staging product for use, maintaining inventory controls, operating forklifts, and following safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certification
• At least 18 years of age
• Previous materials handling experience
• Forklift certification within 90 days
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure
• Ability to communicate and take direction from the lead and/or supervisor
