Material Handler I

Role Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for storing, moving, and handling products and materials in a manufacturing environment. They work in a team environment and must be able to communicate respectfully and professionally.

What You Will Do

Identify, transport, pack, remove, and dispose of products and materials. Operate stand-up reach, forklifts, handcarts, or pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, and load/unload orders.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be knowledgeable in GMPs or willing to learn. Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days. Previous Material Handling experience a plus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days
• Ability to operate stand-up reach truck and extended forklifts
• Sufficient math skills
• Ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to read and write in English
