Job Description
This position requires a welder to perform basic welding processes, read blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and ensure parts and materials are properly identified. The role involves inspection, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety guidelines. This is a 2nd shift position at Port Washington, Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Operate the semi-automatic welder machine and wire feeder.
- Read blueprints and interpret welding views, welding symbols, and dimensions.
- Operate hand and power tools including grinders, cranes, and hoists.
- Perform basic hook-up and riggings, use of chains and slings.
- Identify metal type from blueprints, schematics or Bill of Material.
- Pre-heating and post-heating.
