The Mine Maintenance Technician plays a critical hands-on role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of mobile mining equipment and supporting infrastructure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in mechanics or maintenance preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in mining, heavy equipment, construction, industrial, or similar environments.
- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, drivetrains, electrical systems, and heavy equipment components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic documentation.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting tools, mechanical testing equipment, and service trucks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with operators, supervisors, and technical teams.
- Ability to work safely in an active mine environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
