Role Overview

The Buyer is responsible for acquiring company materials and services, managing vendors, and monitoring the flow of goods and services in the supply chain. Key priorities include quality, on-time delivery, and cost management.

What You Will Do

Utilize MRP software, prepare purchase orders, analyze costs, negotiate prices, monitor orders, communicate with vendors, expedite supplier orders, and build vendor base.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Strong analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills are required. Experience with MS Office products and MRP/ERP systems is preferred.

Requirements

• 0-3 years working experience in a purchasing/supply planning role
• MRP/ERP experience is preferred – experience with Epicor is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics or Equivalent
