Job Description
Electrician position with responsibilities including troubleshooting, electrical installation, and safety protocols. Requires a Journeymen Electrician card and a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
Requirements
- Reasonable knowledge of electrical code and installation procedures
- Previous experience in 2400V; 480 – 3 phase motor controls and system operation
- Knowledge of PLC systems and programming
- Able to read electrical blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively with a minimum of supervision
- Applicant is required to furnish his own hand tools
- Experience in mining is helpful
- Must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of safety in the electrical field
- Capable of working with a minimum of supervision
- Any knowledge of welding and fabrication is a plus but not required
