
Job description
The Firmware Engineering Intern will work on developing embedded C firmware for controlling DSP HW, developing C & Python test code, and taking an idea from concept through design, review, implementation, testing, and release to customers. The intern will be paired with a mentor and have the opportunity to attend networking events. The team works on Marvell's Networking PAM4 DSPs for use in data center optical modules.
Developing embedded C firmware, developing C & Python test code, taking an idea from concept through design, review, implementation, testing, and release to customers, working on mission-critical features for top-tier cloud customers, debugging difficult issues, and scripting for system performance analysis.
Must be a last-year master's student of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar technical field, with a strong understanding of micro-controller architecture, fundamental Networking, and software development flow.
