Job Description
The Information Security Analyst II at the Marvin Group will be responsible for monitoring and protecting the organization from all vectors of cyber-attacks. This position requires the analyst to actively respond to and quell cyberattacks.
Requirements
- Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
- Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Monitor systems and networks for security threats
- Conduct audits and risk assessments
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports, communicating system status.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure infrastructure
- Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations
- Ensuring that fellow employees are following proper security practices, which may include direct engagement.
