Job Description
The Marvin Group is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer IV to develop products, including motor drives, switch mode power supplies, and power factor correction units, for a large defense contractor. The role involves designing hardware for motor control systems and supporting new product introductions through product lifecycle. Marvin Engineering focuses on military aerospace and vehicle systems, serving as a trusted partner for several major primes.
Requirements
- US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
- Advanced knowledge of electric drives and electrical circuits (Altium Preferred).
- Familiarity with various networking protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, CAN, Bluetooth.
- Experience with integration of military systems/standards is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work well within a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
