Job Description
Maryland Environmental Service has an immediate opening for an entry-level full-time Laborer at the Poplar Island facility located near Tilghman Island, Maryland. Responsibilities include janitorial functions, small repairs and maintenance, grass cutting, pesticide application, operation of vehicles, use of hand tools, power mowers & other small equipment.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Completion of eighth grade plus one year of warehouse, production, building maintenance, janitorial, or other general work experience
- Valid driver’s license with less than five points
- Ability to pass a standard physical exam
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing and follow oral and written instructions
