Job Description
The Massachusetts Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission is seeking an Intake Coordinator to join the Division of Police Standards. The successful candidate will work with the Division to support efforts to investigate allegations of officer misconduct and advocate for disciplinary outcomes. The role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Accepting complaints and related documents filed with the Commission
- Conducting an initial review and triage of newly-filed complaints
- Communicating with complainants and law enforcement agencies
- Drafting and sending updates to complainants
- Reviewing and analyzing disciplinary records
- Performing data entry and data integrity review
- Conducting searches of the Commission's internal databases
- Assisting with tasks in furtherance of the Division's obligations under the Massachusetts Public Records Law
