Job Description
The Civil Foreman for Carpentry/Rebar/Concrete is responsible for a combination of duties including mentorship, and leadership for their craft. They will supervise crews for the execution of daily work assignments, maintain a high quality of work, and promote a strong Safety culture within the crews.
Requirements
- Minimum of six (6) years or more of experience of civil/reinforcing/rebar work in a refinery maintenance/turnaround/new construction environment.
- Excellent time-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
- Strong understanding of craft work being supervised and knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Ability to work cooperatively across all levels delivering on commitments, results oriented
- Ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet project schedules and deadlines
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Must be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft.
- Must be able to learn and maintain a good understanding of Matrix policies and procedures.
- Must be able to complete Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client / Site specific training.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within required drug testing program.
