Iron Worker (Emporia Virginia)

Performs any combination of following duties to raise, place, and unite girders, columns, and other structural-steel members to form completed structures or structure frameworks, working as member of crew.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years or more in refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience
• Ability to bold-up and connect Structural Steel Iron and I-beams
• Ability to cut, fit and fabricate all kinds of structural steel iron
• Must be able to direct and perform, using tag line (rope), fixtures and parts for the installation
• General knowledge of basic hand tools
• Must be able to complete the NCCER certification for your craft
• Must be able to complete the Matrix Service Safety training and Client / Site specific training
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the DISA drug testing program
