Senior Property Claims Adjuster

Max Insurance is looking for an exceptional Senior Claims Adjuster to help drive excellence in our claims function for moderate to highly complex residential property claims. The role involves investigating, evaluating, analyzing, negotiating, and settling residential property claims in accordance with Max Insurance’s claims procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of full handle desk adjusting experience handling personal property claims (home, landlord, condo, tenant)
• Experience managing total loss fire and other complex claims
• Experience working with large national contractors
• Litigative experience considered an asset
• Ability to coach and mentor more junior adjusters
• A desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Successfully worked with opposing counsel and third-party adjusters
• Having the mind set on helping our customers get back on their feet quickly
• A strong fundamental understanding of building construction
• Experience with Xactimate estimates
• The ability to be empathetic to our customers in their time of need
