Job Description
Mayo Clinic is seeking a mid-career scientist or clinician investigator with strong RNA biology training and expertise to join their RNA Discovery and Therapeutics Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of impactful work in RNA biology and translation into RNA therapeutics, and will be expected to apply their research to the broader Mayo Clinic Research Initiatives. The role focuses on collaboration with various research teams, both academic and clinical, to advance RNA therapeutics.
Requirements
- PhD or MD with strong training in RNA biology
- Extracurricular funding experience
- Impactful publications
- Strong collaboration skills
- Strong track record of inter-institutional grant and research project leadership
- National or international recognition in one or more areas
- 10+ years of experience
