The Physical Therapist (PT) will perform age-specific assessments, develop plans of care, and provide treatment to patients. The PT will also provide education to patients and their families, and participate in operational and performance improvement aspects of the department.
Requirements
- Assessment and evaluation of cognitive, sensory, neurological, musculoskeletal, functional, and physiological status
- Development of a plan of care and treatment as indicated
- Assessment of patients' response to treatment and discharge planning
- Delegation and monitoring of treatment provided by Physical Therapist Assistants
- Coordination, delegation, and supervision of responsibilities assigned to supportive staff
