Job Description
MBRYONICS is seeking an Optical Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will contribute to and lead optical assembly, alignment, integration and test procedures, and work collaboratively across the company with management, procurement, production and multidisciplinary technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical Optics, Physics, Space Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in optical metrology (wavefront measurements, light sources, lasers, detectors, imaging systems, lenses and mirrors)
- Experience using high-precision positioning systems (hexapods, stages etc.)
- Experience with communications lasers and adoption of relevant safety procedures
- Numerical data handling and scripted command control of measurement setups (e.g. Matlab, Python)
- Good communication and writing skills
