
Job description
This position is responsible for driving the profitability of MCAP's commercial term lending programs in partnership with the Vice President of Origination. The incumbent will generate conventional and insured commercial mortgage opportunities through developing, maintaining, and managing relationships with borrowers, brokers, and other market participants.
The incumbent will critically assess loan applications, recommend applications for approval, and manage approved transactions through the commitment and funding stages of the loan life cycle. They will also build and maintain relationships with clients, develop a marketing plan, and implement it to initiate calls to potential new clients.
The incumbent must have strong analytical and communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with existing Originators, and have a deep understanding of the commercial mortgage market.
