Job Description
The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician performs technical, specialized duties assisting the Staff Pharmacist. This role requires routine work performed without direct supervision, differentiating them from tasks requiring pharmacist judgment. They assist with distribution systems and must be reliable, adaptable, and capable of initiating tasks.
Requirements
- At least 6 months experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Ability to distinguish routine functions from those requiring pharmacist judgment
- Pass a competency test (>75%) within the first 6 months of probationary period
