Prospective Athletics Coach Applicants

Menlo School's Athletics program complements its core academic rigor by offering competitive team sports to high school students. They seek passionate and dedicated coaches to support student athletes in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo, flag football, and encourage graciousness, respect, and honesty. The role may involve driving students to games, practices, and tournaments.

Requirements

• Serve as a positive role model to student athletes and parents
• Teach skills through planned practices at an appropriate level
• Condition athletes appropriately for activities requiring endurance, strength and agility
• Responsible for directing team practice and play in matches
• Teach sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, and responsibility
• Monitor players' attendance and conduct
• Manage equipment and prioritize safety
• Drive school vehicle and transport students
• Perform other duties as required
