Job Description
Mental Health Clinician with the Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment (CORE) program are needed in New York State. The role focuses on providing community-based services for individuals with behavioral health needs, with a focus on person-centered care, empowering independence, and fostering recovery. This position requires a passionate and compassionate approach to advocating for clients through assessment, treatment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- License in Social Work (LMSW, LCSW)
- License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)
- Licensed Psychologist
- 1 year of experience using Motivational Interviewing and trauma-informed practices
- Experience navigating Electronic Health Record
- Experience working in community mental health, residential settings, or with families and children
- Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices
- Strong Spanish-speaking fluency preferred
