Job Description
MHP is hiring a full-time Certified Peer Specialist to provide services to individuals with mental health challenges in a community-based setting. This role involves facilitating recovery, advocating for clients, and supporting participation in treatment, employment, and social services. Requirements
- Minimum of a High School or GED Diploma
- Credentialed as a Certified Peer Specialist and certified through the PA Certification Board
- Strong skillsets in oral and written communication, cultural competence, interpersonal relationships and teamwork
- Valid driver's license
- Good computer skills
- Knowledge of the local Mental Health System
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
