Job Description
MHP is seeking a full-time Certified Peer Specialist Trainee to provide community-based services to individuals with mental health challenges. This 90-day training program will focus on promoting recovery, empowerment, and community integration. Candidates will collaborate with participants, support their goals, and create WRAP Plans. MHP values nurturing mental health and employee well-being.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School or GED Diploma
- Credentialed as a Certified Peer Specialist and eligible for certification through the PA Certification Board
- 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn software applications
- Strong communication, cultural competence, teamwork, and time management skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
