Job Description
The Helicopter Pilot is responsible for safe and effective aircraft operations, ensuring the aircraft is airworthy for transport of medical crew and patients. This role involves maintaining compliance with FAA regulations, performing routine inspections, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders. The pilot is responsible for pre-flight planning, weather checks, and post-flight documentation.
Requirements
- Maintain responsibility for the operation of aircraft
- Ensure the aircraft is airworthy according to FARs and AIM
- Complete post-flight duties (logbook, equipment checks, maintenance, cleaning)
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Perform a minimum of 500 hours of turbine time
