Job Description
This is a highly experienced Systems Engineer role within a civilian or DOD-certified avionics systems development environment. The role involves guiding system development, managing requirements, and ensuring system safety and functionality. The engineer will work with a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to deliver successful systems implementation.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical/Aerospace/Systems Engineering or a related subject, MS preferred.
- 8+ years of experience conducting systems engineering in FAA/EASA/DOD certification programs (6+ years with MS degree).
- Experience with requirements management tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with integrated avionics equipment (ARP4754A/B, RTCA DO-178B/C) for flight-critical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop system-level requirements, architecture, and interfaces, and perform requirements validation and verification.
