• Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries
• Visually inspects castings/parts for defects
• Operates various grinders to remove excess metal
• Communicates with peers, supervisor, and supervision
• Troubleshoots work-related problems
• Uses precision-measurement devices to ensure compliance with customer/project specifications
• Performs minor maintenance on the grinders
