Job Description
Meyer Jabara Hotels is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance and repair duties for the property, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of practical experience in a technical trade and a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
Requirements
- Trade school or college coursework in a related field
- Previous customer service and hotel experience
- 1-2 years of practical experience in one or more technical trades (HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.)
- Ability to work with various pieces of equipment
- Ability to work in variable temperature and noise conditions
- Physical ability to climb stairs, move quickly, and lift heavy objects
- Mental ability to comprehend and express information, evaluate and select alternative courses of action, and handle problems
