Event Coordinator

The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating events at Michaels stores, providing a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. The role involves engaging with clients, demonstrating craft projects, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Plan and coordinate events, including children's birthday parties and craft classes
• Engage with clients of all ages, create a fun and creative environment
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects
• Facilitate and implement party add-ons, communicate with clients and store team members
• Complete administrative tasks, adjust plans based on client feedback and needs
• Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards, set up and break down events
• Help customers shop, locate products, provide solutions, and assist with checkout
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes, complete merchandise recovery
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
