Technical Sales Representative

Southern Scales & Controls Inc. is seeking a motivated sales representative to sell precision measurement, weighing, and instrumentation solutions throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. The ideal candidate will be highly professional and personable, possess excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills, and be comfortable operating independently in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

• Develop the market and consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Identify customer business challenges, and present and sell company products and service solutions to current and potential customers.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals and sales quotes.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare a variety of sales status reports – including daily contact log, weekly sales activities, pipeline, and progress to goal reports.
