EHS Gas/Chemical Safety Engineer

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions. The EHS Gas/Chemical Safety Engineer will be responsible for safety management related to gas systems, chemical substances, and process safety in the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field
• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N3 level or higher
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, including the Industrial Safety and Health Act, the High Pressure Gas Safety Act, and chemical substance management laws
• Experience in safety management within manufacturing, plant operations, chemical facilities, or gas systems
• Practical experience in risk assessment, accident investigation, and implementation of corrective actions
