Requirements
- Strong experience with procurement and contract management of outsourced service provision
- Knowledge of or understanding of the building regulatory system or the building research environment in New Zealand is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to combine storytelling with qualitative and quantitative insights
- Experience with, or ability to learn, reporting tools such as Power BI
- Relevant postgraduate qualification evaluation and research methods and an understanding of regulatory systems is an advantage
- Good understanding of the public sector, including the Ministry’s role and government processes
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand and be able to satisfy the Ministry’s security clearance requirements
