Lawyer, Litigation Team - Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch

We are seeking a lawyer with high levels of integrity and professionalism to join our Litigation team, providing quality legal services for the Ministry of Social Development. The initial focus is on supporting the Ministry's response to Historic abuse claims.

Requirements

• Interest in a broad range of legal areas and public service
• Relevant legal experience (preferably in the public sector)
• Strong research, analytical and writing skills
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Sound understanding and respect for Te Ao Māori or a willingness to develop this
• Current practicing certificate or the ability to immediately obtain one
• At least two years PQE
