Senior Java Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team in Gdańsk, Poland. The successful candidate will take part in development and maintenance services for customized software solutions for a large European customer. The project involves software application development in the tax administration domain, with a focus on implementing secure, scalable platforms that support administrative processes, data management, and digital transformation initiatives.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for implementing software components according to design specifications, performing system integration and testing, and participating in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines. You will also collaborate with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure efficient and predictable project progress.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Quarkus
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ)
• Good understanding of testing principles
• Ability to communicate confidently in English
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams
