Production Operator performs various set ups, processing, fabrication, assembly, inspection, finishing, cleaning, welding, testing, and rework on product. Must be capable of learning manual skills and work to drawings and procedures. Accurate record keeping is also required.
Requirements
- Manufacture products according to assigned documentation
- Operate manufacturing equipment
- Perform inspection checks to ensure conformance with quality standards
- Assemble, measure, test, mark, inspect, and pack assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Fabricate various assemblies and components
- Set up and operate equipment required for in-process, final, or special tests
- Work alone or with peers, maintaining appropriate behavioural conduct
- Suggest ways to improve processes, procedures, or product quality
- Evaluate engineering prototypes to help determine manufacturing difficulties or potential problems
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including legible and complete records
- Comply with all safety procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
