Junior Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

Join our team in Farnborough as a Junior Mechanical Engineer, supporting the research, development, and implementation of high temperature and nuclear imaging products. You will work alongside a multidisciplined team, responsible for supporting projects from conception to completion.

What You Will Do

Assist in designing and analysing mechanical components and systems, conduct simulations, testing, and analysis, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare technical documentation.

Requirements

• Qualified to a minimum degree level in a relevant field or relevant experience
• Experience of mechanical design and development using 2D and 3D CAD software (preferably Solidworks and AutoCAD)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to review and work with stakeholders to prioritise workload of self
• Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
