Senior Backend Engineer - Stellar Ecosystem

Senior Backend Engineer for a high-growth fintech leader specializing in simplifying multi-chain DeFi for traditional financial institutions, fintechs, and service providers. Responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure backend systems.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js is required.
• Proven experience working with the Stellar network in production environments.
• Previous experience in the blockchain space with a technical understanding of the EVM ecosystem (or other blockchain environments).
• Familiarity with Stellar's Soroban smart contracts is a significant plus.
• Extensive professional experience in a similar role at a senior or lead level.
• Solid understanding of document databases (MongoDB), caching mechanisms (Redis), and system architecture design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a proactive manner.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science is considered a plus.
