Principal Data Platform Engineer

As a Principal Data Platform Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of architecture, strategy, and hands-on engineering, shaping the backbone of a modern, modular, cloud-native data platform. You will lead critical design decisions while remaining deeply embedded in technical execution across core platform components.

Requirements

• 10+ years in data engineering, cloud architecture, or backend engineering roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, IAM), Python, and modern data frameworks.
• Expertise in system architecture, distributed systems, and microservices (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, and data governance frameworks.
