As the Sr. Electrical Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of all electrical assets across the plant. This includes, but is not limited to, electrical distribution equipment such as substations, transformers, switchgear, and protective relays, as well as low- and medium-voltage motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs)/soft starters, PLCs, UPS and battery charger systems, and electric heat tracing systems.
Requirements
- BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ Years of electrical experience within an industrial chemical manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE).
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
- Strong safety consciousness, strong EHS awareness and familiarity with EHS requirements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook / Office / Excel/ PowerPoint etc. – computer basics.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
