Job Description
This role offers a stable environment with overtime pay, weekly pay, and full benefits. The Fleet Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the safety and reliability of commercial trucks and trailers by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing issues, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. It involves both on-site work and collaboration with other departments.
Requirements
- CDL Class A Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Diploma or Certification in Diesel & Heavy Equipment Repairs preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Operations of heavy and commercial equipment
- Good general working knowledge of mobile maintenance equipment tools
- Basic knowledge in cutting and welding is a plus
- Good communication skills in English
- Knowledge in Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis a plus
- Knowledge in mobile maintenance procedures & work order execution
- Proficient in the use of safety equipment
