Mechanical Integrity Specialist

Role Overview

Manage the Mechanical Integrity (MI) Program, overseeing inspections and repairs of vessels, piping, and tanks. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and implement HSE policies and programs.

What You Will Do

Perform inspections, oversee contractor inspections, and manage repair projects. Develop and modify engineering and maintenance procedures, and develop capital projects as needed.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have 5+ years of related experience, familiarity with ASME and API codes, and demonstrated knowledge of corrosion damage mechanisms. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and interact with contractors.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent
• 5+ years related experience
• Familiarity with ASME Section I, II, VIII, IX, XI, B31.1, B31.3, and other related vessel and piping Codes
• Familiarity with NBBIC vessel repair and ASME IX welding requirements
• Familiarity with API-510, 570, and 653 inspection and repair Standards and associated requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of corrosion damage mechanisms and basic knowledge of materials
• Good organizational, verbal and written interpersonal communication, critical-thinking/problem-solving, math, and computer skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Demonstrated ability to master equipment-specific knowledge
• API-570 Certification and KY Piping Inspector License
• KY Boiler Contractor's License
• NBBIC Certification
