We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with full-stack JavaScript experience to join the Central Technology Web Development team in support of Morningstar’s Corporate Marketing. This position will be part of an engineering team focused on updating Morningstar’s web-based marketing platforms.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably with a focus on full-stack JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue, Nuxt, React, Next.js, Angular, or similar.
- Solid understanding of browser fundamentals, including rendering, JavaScript execution, caching, networking, accessibility, and performance.
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills, including asynchronous programming, modular code, package management, and modern build tooling such as Vite, Webpack, Rollup, or similar.
- Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs, Node.js services, middleware, or integrations with external platforms.
- Familiarity with deploying, debugging, or monitoring applications in AWS or a similar cloud environment.
