Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Design Engineer responsible for leading full lifecycle product development, from concept to production, in a hands-on, cross-functional role. Collaborate with customers, product management, and shop floor to design, fabricate, and test mechanical assemblies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 3+ years of design engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong 3D modeling skills (CAD design and modeling; SolidWorks preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems (items, BOMs, routings), desired
• Strong familiarity with sheet metal, tubing, welding, and hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies
• Ability to take initiative and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
