Senior Mechanical Engineer

MRIGlobal has a full-time opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Kansas City, MO. The selected candidate will work with other engineering and technical disciplines in the design, prototyping, and testing of custom systems to meet customer requirements. The candidate will design a broad range of mechanical systems, develop and conduct experiments, lead mechanical engineering design work, communicate with clients and project managers, and provide preliminary design concepts and technical input to commercial and government project proposals.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 9 years’ experience
• Proficient with CAD software (e.g., SOLIDWORKS)
• Demonstrated knowledge in common fabrication equipment/techniques (e.g., Manual and CNC machining, Additive Manufacturing)
• Experience with prototyping and Design-For-Manufacturing principles
