We are seeking a hands-on Data Engineer who thrives in a fast-evolving environment and takes ownership of building reliable and scalable data solutions. The role involves designing, building, and operating data pipelines and curated datasets, working closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready data products.

Requirements

• 5 years+ in analytical functional roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical industries
• 5 years+ of proven work experience as a data engineer or data architect
• Strong hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python
• Ability to independently design, build, and troubleshoot data workflows
• Experience implementing and operating data pipelines on cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of data modeling and large-scale data processing
• Practical experience implementing data quality checks in pipelines
• Hands-on experience migrating or rebuilding pipelines to modern platforms
• Ability to optimize performance, scalability, and cost through implementation
• Experience preparing datasets for analytics and business consumption
• Ability to translate business needs into implemented data solutions
• Strong ownership mindset to execute tasks end-to-end hands-on
• Hands-on experience managing metadata, data catalog, and documentation
• Understanding of access control, data lineage, and governance basics
• Experience delivering data products with cross-functional teams
• Experience ensuring compliance with enterprise data policies
• Ability to structure datasets for usability and self-service access
