Research Fellow (Electrical & Electronic Engineering/Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering)

The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. The key responsibilities include developing and demonstrating a prototype for a Mobile robot combination coupling and decoupling device/platform.

Requirements

• Ph.D degree in Electrical/Electronics/Robotics, mechanical or mechatronics engineering
• Experience in related area of cobot or related technologies
• Familiar with control systems of cobot and robotic systems
• Working knowledge of software (Python, C++, Matlab or similar)
• Practical and hands-on, active self-learner and able to pay close attention to technical details
• Proficiency in English and verbal communication
• Good working knowledge in ROS (Robot Operating System)
