Senior Research Fellow (Materials Chemistry and Chemical Engineering)

The School of Materials Science and Engineering is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to design, synthesize, and characterize porous polymer microspheres, with a focus on upscaling processes and collaborating with clinicians on testing materials.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or relevant field
• Experience in morphological/structural techniques for materials characterization
• Experience in characterization techniques such as electron microscopy, NMR, BET, etc.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
• Good communication and written skills
• Responsible and passionate self-starter
